The ride

 Alright, so,

there's this painting,

two kids, 

a girl, older, 

and a boy

clinging to her from behind,

riding a bike.

Grinning. 

and the first thing you notice

is their smiles, 

and when you are done

noticing the warmth

and verve

of their smiles, 

and the kind sparkle 

in their twinkling little eyes, 

you realize the cycle 

that had so far 

seemed distantly 

out of scape, 

is in fact real, 

leaning against a painted wall, 

two kids, 

riding nothing ...

The drift and sway of it, 

sometimes, 

makes it so difficult to tell ...
